Clean enough. Breakfast was good. Slight smoky odor in my room that went away after the a.c. had run for a while.
I had the worst experience at this hotel. I would warn anyone before making any reservation(s) with this particular hotel or any hotel under the ChoiceHotels umbrella. The General Manager of this hotel, Cedric, should not be in charge. He is a rude and very unprofessional manager to say the least. There was a matter of miscommunication in the setting of my reservations and all I wanted was a simple explanation. What I received was nothing short of rudeness, dismissive attitude, and poor customer service. Cedric, the general manager attempted to belittle my intelligence and my competence during our encounter. Not only did he exhibit this behavior with me, but also with my fiancée. My fiancée approached him about getting towels for our room and he was a complete jerk. I think Cedric feels that he is untouchable and can just talk to and treat the guests and customers anyway he wants. I'm not surprised as to why he exhibits such arrogant behavior, because when I called corporate they exclaimed that there was "nothing that they could do." I would strongly recommend staying elsewhere. I've worked in customer service for over eight years, and never have I treated a customer in the fashion that we were treated at this hotel; neither have I been treated in this fashion before. I urge you to stay elsewhere. The price of stay is fine, but its not worth my dignity and self respect. I will no longer lodge at this hotel or any hotel affiliated with ChoiceHotels. Take my advice, its not worth the trouble.
Clean, decent location, friendly staff
Most of the staff was very nice and welcoming. All in all, a good stay. When the price is compared to the quality, it's a great deal.
The building from the outside is nice, but once you step inside you can tell it is a bit old. The first room we were put in smelled terribly of cigarette smoke, and that wouldn't do with our 8 month old. I called the front desk and they put us into another room without hesitation, which was much better. I was put off by the mugginess and temperature of the room, but once I turned the air on it was much better.
3.5-4 stars. We booked this hotel as an "only option" when we evacuated Florida for Irma. It had a room available, and the price was right.
Friendly staff we evacuate d Florida they are great breakfast was so good and well stocked
The pillows and bed are incredibly comfortable. My husband and I have our share of hotel and resort stays, and this would rank in my top 5 for comfort. The complimentary breakfast every morning was a definite bonus, and we took full advantage of it. The lobby has round-the-clock coffee and tea, which was a nice touch. The water was very hot (both from the faucet and Shower), though the pressure was lacking a bit.
