Do you like hot water, lights that don't rapidly flicker when you turn them on, and a room that doesn't smell like prostitutes and cigarettes. Then this hotel is not for you. To begin I would just like to say that this hotel had water that deter Satan because it was so cold. Sleeping here for a night like I was playing a hearty game of homeless shelter simulator. The pillows in the placr are basically throw pillows disguised as normal pillow but they didn't fool me, mostly because laying on them felt like beating myself in the head with a brick and I'm pretty sure they stole these mattresses from a prison trash pile. Just in case that wasn't enough through most of the night there were cops around the area which explains alot considering in 99% sure they bleached blood splatter off of the wall. In short this is an excellent hotel IF you want the amazing thrill of having a 50/50 shot of a methlab blowing in your neighbors room.
Just wanted to do an update here. I read through some of the reviews and the owners of this place posted a review under an account named guest01. Jesus H Christ these people are working with half of a brain.
I always stay here when around Jackson. Customer service is great. Rooms are always clean and smell good. This place is a safe place to stay when around Jackson. They have a pool for the kids and adults on a hot Mississippi day. Well worth the price.
I was waken up at 200 am in the morning. I heard a noise with the plastic bag. In the room number 111, it was Pitch Black , so I got my cell phone and use the light from my phone. And I saw a rat that was on the table where my plastic bag was.That was the noise I was hearing, so I called the front desk and let them know there was a rat in my room and she asked me did I want another room of course I want another room did you think I wanted to stay in the room with a rat.The second room number 218 sheets smell stale they were not fresh. Also the hot water didn't work, and the lights between the beds didn't work. And I asked the lady on night shift could I get a refund and she said I'll have to speak with the manager later that day. By 8 a.m. my sheets were replace. The lady on morning shift was very nice and she tried to help me get my money back,at least that's what I was told she called the manager and a few hours later I was told no refund because I got a deal online. But what does that have to do with a rat in my room did the room come with the rat because I got a deal online LOL. Keep your money do not come here.
You get what you pay for. However, no matter the price, there should be plenty of hot water and there wasn't. The entire stay the water was just warm enough to not be considered cold. The Best Western across the street was completely booked unfortunately or I would have stayed there for the same price. It's newer and nicer and I'm sure they have their water heater thermostat turned up to a comfortable level.
As both my husband I travel alit we found this hotel to be very clean! No smells. We stayed in a suit the best part was after traveling we were able to take a very hot bath!. Breakfast was clean and very nicely set up. We will be back!!!!.
