Nice area and rooms were nice, but not a place to go to rest. Very loud music from downstairs.
Great hotel. Modernized. Lightning fast wifi. The bar and food are excellent.
The service there was wonderful, but the rooms left something to be desired. We had to change our first room after we got to the room was hot and muggy and the air conditioning was loud and rattling. Also, when I took my shoes off the carpet was most from condensation. After my husband called down they quickly moved us to another room that was much better and apologized for the inconvenience. Also, we had a crib put in our room. It was waiting for us when we got there but it looked old and wasn't put together and just placed right inside the door. Since, we had a late check in (I had called hours earlier, before we got there, about the crib) I assumed it would be put together so I could lay my baby in it.
Rooms are uncomfortable with a smell of smoke in the hallway at 5AM. It got into our clothes and we are there on business for an important trade show. The odor was in the hallway on the third floor and in our rooms. Downstairs in the lobby was clean. The beds are very uncomfortable. Shower and tub in our room needs repair. The walls were peeling apart. No breakfast in the morning. For the price we expect more.
This is a nice Holiday Inn to stay the night when traveling through Mississippi. Convenient to I-20 and close to an outlet shopping mall. There is a good restaurant located in the hotel. It seems like a new building. The rooms are very clean and well appointed. A good place to stay.
